Description:

This presentation will be given to the students in the Masters Class of Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Hawaii. During this presentation, students will learn what assistive technology is and how it these items can assist an individual to be more independent. Participants will learn and hear real life solutions where assistive technology is used to assist in employment, at home, and in school. Participants will also be able to name pieces of assistive technology and the trends.
