Session Description:

This presentation will share in-depth information on assistive technology strategies and solutions for individuals living with neurodegenerative disorders. Presenters will define and explore various degenerative neurological disease processes including Huntington's disease (HD), multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and more. Interactive discussion will focus on augmentative alternative communication (AAC) devices in specific strategies for matching the appropriate assistive technologies to individual needs.
