Join us for an informative session focused on environmental control technologies and solutions. Assistive Technology is instrumental for individuals living with disabilities, often making or breaking the quest for independence. Universal Design on mainstream technologies have enabled those living with disabilities to remain independent at home, in the community, at school and at work. This session will shed light on current home control technologies and share information, resources, and hot tips for accessing your world. During this presentation participants will have an opportunity to review services from AMAC Accessibility Solutions as well as Tools for Life, Georgia's Assistive Technology Program - each programs at Georgia Tech. Other topics include in-depth features of smart speakers, switch access and alternate solutions, smart home technologies, as well as a peek into innovative technologies in the upcoming market.
