This keynote will explore the role of how students with learning disabilities can thrive in a world where technology has become mobile and plug and play. They will hear real examples of students who are excelling with their mobile technologies. This session will look at some of the popular mobile tablets on the market and their accessibility. Participants will walk away knowing apps that can help a student strive in the classroom environment. They will also have the opportunity to learn how to use the Tools for Life AppFinder database to search for apps on the iOS and Android system.

Tips for a Successful Educational Environment for Students with Learning Disabilities

During this session individuals will have the opportunity to learn about applications that can be used in the classroom. This session will focus on the use of apps that can be used in the classroom and using the iPad for student led IEPs. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the use of fidget tools in the classroom for student who have ADHD.

Reading Revolution: A Closer Look at Some Assistive Technology Reading Solutions

During this session participants will have the opportunity to explore some assistive technology reading solutions across environments. Participants will learn about some of the basics truths when it comes to the Reading Revolution. They will have the opportunity to explore some of the newer technologies as well as incorporating some of the "oldies but goodies"
