When faced with a workplace accommodation problem, would you like to be able to learn how others have solved it?

We are developing Work ACCESS, a new online tool and app to help employers, employees, and service providers make informed accommodation decisions. We would like your input on what assessment questions to ask and what solutions to suggest for different scenarios.

You can help us develop the tool by participating in one or more of our online surveys. We will show you a work task problem that an employee with a disability might have and a set of possible accommodation solutions. You will be asked if we missed any solutions and if any are unclear or need additional details. In some cases, you will also be asked to choose personal or environmental factors that might improve the match. You might also be asked to mark those scenarios where an expert should be consulted.

Our current validation surveys are on:

The survey has only a few places where text responses are requested, but it does require a large amount of reading. If you are unable or prefer not to use a computer, we can administer the survey during a telephone interview.

The entire survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. To thank you for your time, you will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for $50 (gift card or check). In accordance with Georgia state rules on lotteries/raffles, you may also enter our drawing without taking part in the study.

In order to take part in the survey, you must:

  • Have experience using and/or recommending workplace accommodations
  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Work in and be participating from the United States
  • Be fluent in written or spoken English

We will be covering different topics throughout the year. You are welcome to participate in multiple surveys.

Thank you for your attention. If you have questions about participating, please contact:
