This session provided students from UCLA on an alternative spring break with an overview of the Tools for Life program and Network. The history, legislation and etiquette on disability and assistive technology were provided. Rachel also explored assistive technology assessments and some solutions at low tech, mid tech and high tech levels. She provided examples of real world assistive technology solutions to engage the students and to help them understand the capabilities and importance of AT.
