TFL Mission

  • Increase access to and acquisition of assistive technology devices and services so Georgians of all ages and disabilities can live, learn, work and play independently in communities of their choice.

  • Sal- Culture Change Network Advisory Council Meeting, April 16 – Rich discussion about many of the issues facing long-term care facilities during this time. Key issues revolved around the importance of immunization of staff, healthcare workers and aides. Unemployment funding and stimulus checks made retaining and attracting staff a significant problem. Significant incentives are being offered to attract new workers. Discussion around need for increasing minimum pay for aides as home care agencies and direct pay are paying more. CARES Act money is allowing for placement of technology in residential facilities. Promoted our CDC work, DAS contract and invited the group to promote our upcoming webinar on immunizations within their organizations. Follow-up meeting this Thursday as there are updates on the Grant to be discussed.

Open Enrollment begins October 21st!

  • Open Enrollment for 2021 Benefits selection begins tomorrow October 21st and ends November 6th. This is an active enrollment - meaning you must log into the system and confirm your benefits even if no changes are being made. Additionally, you will need to certify you and your dependent(s) (age 18 and older) tobacco use status. Tobacco users will be charged $100 per month, per person for using tobacco products and system automatically defaults to tobacco user.
