disABILITY LINK, Tucker GA

Presenters:

Ben Jacobs, Accommodations Specialist Danny Housley, AT Funding and Resource Specialist

Gaming is an important aspect of life for people with and without disabilities. Gaming can offer many benefits for a person who is living independently: problem solving skills, socialization and many other positive effects can be seen. Ben and Danny share some of the research, demonstrate the Xbox One and discuss the efforts of Tools for Life in expanding this vital aspect to serving our mission to aid people with disabilities to live, learn, work and play in the communities of their choosing. A discussion of how Independent Living philosophy fits into this area will also take place.
