Tools for Life is a proud sponsor, presenter and exhibitor of the 2014 GASHA Conference!

The Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (GSHA) is a professional association of individuals specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of communication, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The Association advocates for the professional interests of its members and the individuals they serve and provides a forum for the exchange of professional information and ideas

On February 7, we kick off the 2014 Convention with a fabulous breakfast and presentation by keynote speaker Carolyn Phillips, Georgia Tools for Life, who will share the life-changing impact of AAC and what the future holds as we “spread our wings.” The annual Awards Ceremony will follow her presentation to recognize the accomplishments of our honored colleagues. We are also pleased to announce special sessions on reimbursement and an ASHA Town Hall meeting that will focus on advocacy, leadership, and volunteerism by Edie Hapner from the ASHA Executive Board.

Continuing Education Information

The Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. This program will be registered for credit. Stay tuned for more details.

If you plan to apply for a Professional Learning Unit (PLU) for Georgia teacher certification renewal, you may need to complete a Prior Approval Form, if required by your school system. GSHA does not need your Prior Approval Form to approve your PLU; however, you should keep the form with your records, in the event it is required by your school system or the Professional Standards Commission. You will need to complete a Mastery Verification Form to earn PLU credit (provided at the convention). Remember, PLUs are different than ASHA CEUs. All of the necessary paperwork for CEUs will be provided at the convention.

Exhibitor, Vendor, and Sponsor Opportunities
