This session will cover various environmental control technologies and how their implementation around the home or workplace can help people with disabilities be more independent in every facet of their lives. Environmental control, smart home technologies and the Internet of Things have been around for quite some time. Until recently the cost of entry was an enormous barrier. Recently, these technologies have become more and more affordable and new solutions join the marketplace everyday.
