Expanding Outreach of Assistive Technology in Georgia

Visitors from Health and Human Services (HHS) | Administration for Community Living (ACL) came to visit Tools for Life's network partner at Coastal Regional Commission during the n4a Conference in Savannah, GA. Visitors toured Coastal's growing assistive technology lab, met Tools for Life networks as well as consumers that are being served in Coastal. HHS visitors got to see the various models of collaboration that we use here in Georgia to connect our consumers to assistive technology.

Todd presented a demonstration of the prototype of a website he has been designing for the Assistive Technology Online Solutions for Aging and Dementia. This included a live demonstration of the tool for the visitors where they could see the process of taking the "assessment" get getting results.
