Type |
Webinar |
Description |
Using audio in the classroom has been part of the teachers toolkit for many years, but does it have the impact that we want? Often, using audio can be a tricky and complicated process, especially when recording audio. Given the wealth of research that shows the benefits of recording and reviewing auditory information for learning gains, should we be taking another look at how we use audio in our teaching methods? In this webinar, former High School teacher, Adam Pearce will be exploring the use of audio in the classroom. Adam will initially explore some of the issues with using audio as teaching device for K-12 students and then move on to look at the benefits of recording and reviewing audio to help students achieve. The webinar will then take a look at practical strategies using Notetalker app and Edit software, including strategies for pre-schoolers, elementary, as well as middle and high school students, and within vocational goals. The strategies will be both student and instructor led activities that can be used in your own setting. |
