Exploring Writing Support for Individuals with Autism |
Type |
Webinar |
Description |
Writing can be a difficult task for many students, but can cause high stress levels and meltdowns for students with autism. Join us for a webinar where we will explore how students can express their ideas and understandings in many ways using Assistive Technology. Using research findings on how individuals with autism interact with language, we will share how pictures and on-screen features can help with early writing. Supporting pre-writing for higher functioning students will be addressed as well as grammar, spelling, and auditory support for editing. |
